Hello! How can we help you?

The front right Walker wheel has started to wobble and turn sideways?

When you turn with your Walker, the left and right front wheels must be able to turn differently. If you turn left, the left wheel will turn more, as its turning radius is smaller than the outside right wheel.

Just like a car, the Walker has a 'stub axle steering', which is provided by the big black centre pulley of the Syncro steering, and this pulley moves back and forth when you are steering.

The two front wheels cannot be dead parallel at all times, as you then wouldn’t be able to steer the Walker properly.

When the Walker is folded, the Syncro belt is slackened, and you have most certainly, unintentionally, managed to get one of the front wheels turned one full turn in relation to the other front wheel.

When unfolding the Walker, please always do as follows:

  1. Grab the handles and unfold the frame as far as possible.
  2. Grab the right handle and lift the right front and rear wheels off the ground a little.
  3. While holding them lifted, press down on the left rear corner of the seat to lock the Walker in walking mode (with your left hand).

If done as above, the unfolding is easier as the right wheels do not slide along the ground (increased friction), and the right front wheel is free to turn into its aligned position.

Please fold and then unfold your Walker as described above, and the problem will disappear.

  • Worth Every Penny - Best "Walker" on the Market…

I had been looking for a walker with larger, rubber tube tires forever it seemed. The small, hard, plastic tires on all walkers are only good for very short distances on even surfaces. Then I saw this product and I chatted and spoke to the company …

  • Excellent bit of kit…

Excellent. From my previous average 20m range, the world has now expanded so much that I was able to take my youngest round the dinosaur museum (him sitting on the seat, facing forward, when he got tired).

I really cannot thank you enough.…

  • Thank you for giving freedom back to my husband…

My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2005 and as the symptoms progressed, his mobility and confidence to get out and walk diminished. He had been using ski-pole type sticks and although successful a few years ago, they no longer give enough …

  • Personal aid and fast delivery. My best INVESTMENT…

Praise to you who invented the Veloped!
I have COPD FEV1 23%, and thanks to the Veloped I can get out in the forest to pick mushrooms and blueberries. Walked several running tracks. Had sore muscles in the hips in the beginning. Because it's so easy…

  • Mimi (Ward)…

I am so pleased with my Walker. I have used it every single day as I cannot walk without its help! Before I struggled along with two sticks.

Me and Louis (my beautiful whippet) go out twice every day on our walks with your wonderful product.

  • Rollator Walker 12er…

After much deliberation, I chose this product in the hope that it would improve my walking. I can honestly say it has definitely improved my posture and enabled me to undertake walks over rough terrain where my previous rollator was very limited. The…

  • Veloped front wheel hub cap…

    So far so good…

  • Just fantastic!…

I am 50 years old, my spine and joints are barely able to bear weight due to rheumatic and orthopaedic health disorders. In 2022 I also had a stroke with hemiplegia, which has improved somewhat, but I still have very serious limitations. (I am severe…

  • I've had the Veloped since November 2023...…

I've had the Veloped Tour since November 2023. It's so great for me to be able to participate in life again. I've been undergoing immunotherapy for three years, which has weakened my muscles. But by walking with the Velped, I can compensate for a lot…
