How wide is it between the handles on the Veloped?
The space between the handles on a Trionic Veloped is the same as the seat width: 44 cm (17.3″). Measured from the centre of one grip to the centre of the other, the handles are 48 cm (18.9″) apart. This is the same on every Veloped, in both frame sizes (M and L) and with both 12″ and 14″ wheels.
Overall width
- Veloped, size M — 76 cm (29.9″) wide
- Veloped, size L — 79 cm (31.1″) wide
The overall width is measured across the rear wheels, which are the widest point. That is the figure to check against doorways and lifts.
Compared with the Trionic Walker
The Walker 12er has its grips 50 cm (19.7″) apart, centre to centre, and the compact Walker 9er 47 cm (18.5″). All dimensions for each model are under the 'Dimensions & Weight' tab on its product page.
