Hello! How can we help you?

Is it comfortable even with solid tyres on rollators?

Yes. The SuperSoft solid tyres on the rollator Trionic Walker 9er are specially developed to provide the same softness and shock absorption as air-filled tyres, but without the risk of punctures or the need for maintenance. This ensures a smooth and quiet ride indoors, as well as comfortable performance outdoors, while offering long-lasting durability and peace of mind.

On many standard rollators, the braking system presses directly onto the tyre surface. In order for those brakes to function effectively, the tyres often need to be very hard. Hard tyres can feel less comfortable, and because the brake constantly works against the tyre material, wear can occur relatively quickly. As the tyres wear down, braking performance may gradually decrease, which can affect safety and lead to higher long-term costs if wheels need replacing.

The Trionic Walker 9er uses a hub brake system that operates within the wheel rather than pressing directly against the tyre. This means the tyre material does not need to be extremely hard to support braking performance. As a result, the SuperSoft tyres can provide high comfort while maintaining reliable and consistent braking performance over time. This design reduces tyre wear and helps ensure long-term safety and durability.
