Hello! How can we help you?

Why Do the Veloped Models Have Different Weights?

The difference in weight between the Veloped models is due to the textile components, not the mechanical parts.

All Veloped models use the same aluminium frame, the same wheel system and the same braking system. These parts are identical across the range.

In 2017, the frame was redesigned and improved. The updated frame reduced the overall weight while maintaining the same strength and stability. All models produced after this change benefit from the lower frame weight.

The remaining weight differences between models are caused by variations in textiles, such as seat fabrics, baskets and bags. Models with more extensive textile equipment weigh slightly more. Models with less textile material weigh slightly less.

The frame, wheels and brakes are the same on all models. The textiles account for the weight difference.

This is an excellent product, once you have got over the price! There is not another like it on the market. The pneumatic tyres make a huge difference, especially on rough or non-existent roads. It's actually worth it. The brakes are not the best, th…

  • Outstanding…

Although the Veloped Tour is an expensive investment, it is well worth it.
It has given me mobility that no other rollator provides. I can now navigate uneven terrain, cobble stone streets, curbs and even pot holes with ease. I intend to take it wit…

  • Trionic Walker 14er is great for walking on……

Trionic Walker 14er is great for walking on rough and unpaved streets. With this, I have increased my speed and distance. I added a bicycle speedometer/odometer to monitor my speed and distance. A great improvement over my 8-inch indoor walker.…

My 94-year-old mother walks 4 to 6 km a day with it in her beloved forest, it is easy to drive / steer, bumps are mastered without any problems, my mother is grateful, no longer feels as ‘shaken’ as with the old ordinary outdoor rollator.

I’m 69. Sadly, cancer attacked my spine. I lost the ability to walk, had lots of treatment at Clatterbridge Liverpool, and then home physiotherapist visits. I’m now walking slowly.

Had several walkers, none worked for me, but this one, on the cont…

After five years of loss of mobility due to neurological problems I took the plunge and purchased a Trionic Sport Veloped with a comfort seat. My previous experience had been with a wheelchair, crutches and a lightweight rollator and I had considered…

  • Walker 9er…

    Bought for my Dad
Very well made, easy to use.

Add on weights on the rear maybe a good idea, sometimes too easy to move with brakes on.…

  • No problems at the beach…

I have always been fit and healthy until 2 years ago. An accident at work put an end to that. I now have an inexplicable pain in my leg and back that makes walking almost impossible. After using some granny walkers, Trionic came up via Google. I had …
