Trained first as a graphic designer — running a small ad agency and working at a printing house — before a business degree at Södertörn and a mechanical engineering degree in product design at KTH. There he met Stefan and co-invented the Veloped. Today he leads design, marketing and sales.
Johan's co-inventor and partner, met at KTH. Together they developed and patented the climbing wheel at the heart of the Veloped. Stefan owns manufacturing and production — and through the company's hardest years, kept engineering and relocating the build until it worked. He now works remotely from the French Alps.

Twenty years in, the division of labour is simple and deliberate — one side owns how it's made, the other owns how it reaches you.
Stefan owns manufacturing and production. The product is assembled in a contracted factory and finished — textile, brakes and grips — in Uppsala, so quality is checked close to home before it ships.
Johan owns design, marketing and sales. We sell directly to the people who use our rollators — so real feedback, reviews and thank-you letters shape what we build next. Every photo we publish is a real user.

Pnevmatike so prispele zelo hitro, namestil sem jih in takoj sem spet hodil.
Najprej sem kupil Veloped - popoln! Kasneje sem kupil še Walker, ki se ujema z njim - prav tako popoln, vendar imam raje Veloped, ker je spredaj daljši in z njim lahko bolj…

Walker 14 Preprosto odlično…
Po 10 letih na Velopedu sem presedlal na Walkerja. Lažje ga je prevažati v avtu. Kot sem pričakoval, je bila to zelo dobra odločitev, z njim lahko grem kamor koli, bodisi po tlakovanih površinah, poljih ali gozdnih poteh, to je čisti užitek! Veloped …

Po transverzalnem mielitisu je med drugim moten dvig stopala, hoja je zdaj zavesten proces in ne več samodejen.
S tem Velopedom lahko končno spet hodim varneje. Odlično!…
