I have used the Tour now for a couple of weeks. Am absolutely amazed at the difference it makes to walking. Have been using a standard 4-wheel walker and walking was very limited. After about a hundred yards or so the pain in my back was such that I had to sit down and after a walk around a garden centre my elbows ached the back pain was unreal and my knees were on fire. When I got the Veloped Tour we went for a walk around the local arboretum and what a difference. Adjusted the angle of the cork grips, got the height right on the handlebars and away I went. Alright, I still had to sit down after a hundred yards or so, the elbows were fine and because I could walk upright the knees were fine as was the lack of back pain. The Tour went wherever I pointed it, over bumps the tree roots. A true off-road machine. After no walking for years, I actually went out 3 times in a fortnight. A very easy walk. Thought long and hard before buying the Tour but would recommend it to anyone thinking about buying it, don't think, just buy it. You won't regret it.

I have a balance disorder. The Rollator Walker is great for so many reasons. It is very sturdy, engineered to turn easily. Gives me independence that I had lost. I bought an extra one so that I have one in the car and one for the yard.

What was your concern with this review?
The Walker 14er helps me a lot (balance disorder due to ataxia). Apart from the large tyres, which make it easier to overcome obstacles, I particularly like the flexible suspensions of the wheels on the left and right, which decisively improve the ground contact of all four wheels. The only thing I would like to see is a further improvement of the brakes (although I don't know of any model that offers this): the synchronisation of the left and right brakes to prevent the walker from breaking due to one-sided braking (this exists in the bicycle industry for so-called trikes) and the use of V-brakes (again in the bicycle industry) to be able to better dose the braking power of the brakes.

Streets paved with old cobblestones
My husband had fallen a few times in the last few months, but he still refused to use a rollator. That's why I looked around for a better one than the ones usually offered in German medical shops. I found the Walker and suggested it to my husband. He still didn't want it! When he fell again, I ordered the Walker online and told my husband I had bought it for myself. The delivery was prompt and I was able to take the Walker out of the packaging and use it straight away. I used it for shopping and for walking our little dog. My husband then showed more and more interest and now it is his rollator. It helps to get around safely in everyday life and when travelling, especially on uneven paths. We live in Regensburg, there are beautiful old cobblestones, the walker runs over them very smoothly.

Finally a stable rollator that is big enough, doesn't get stuck everywhere and has good brakes. My husband is relieved and enjoys walking more safely with it. Unfortunately, he has fallen several times with previous standard rollators, e.g. getting stuck in a gully. That won't happen with the Trionic, and bumps and other small obstacles are no longer a problem. Now I no longer need to worry so much.

I received my Veloped Trek Large 14-inch on Friday, 22/12, 2023, which is perfect for me. Ideal height, too. I can walk upright with it compared to my previous walker. On my doctor's advice, I will go out for long walks with it every day in the Spring/Summer, but now, in the winter, it will mostly be indoors.

Speedy delivery with UPS Express, too, only took 1 day! This Veloped will attract attention as almost no one in Gothenburg has seen such a monster before. It's good that the suitcases came with the delivery. It rolls incredibly easily and turns on a dime. Due to the rough-patterned giant wheels of 14 inches 36 cm in circumference, the Velopeden moves forward as swiftly as an all-terrain tracked vehicle.

I am very pleased with my new walker it tackles the uneven paths and stony areas so easily and I can get about so much better without the possibility of it getting stuck in the ruts. Thank you

I have finally found the perfect wheeled walker! The Trionic Veloped Tour 14er M. It is adjustable to be tall enough for me, which make a nice change, I am 6 foot and in the past walkers have felt too low, what totally blew me away was being able to walk my dog over the fields and through the woods without having to ask anyone to help lift the walker over roots, sticks or boggy areas, the Veloped with the all terrain wheel lowered just ploughs on through. The basket is perfect for putting all the bits I need to take with me and I recommend getting a bottle holder as it is perfect for holding either my water bottle or the dogs. I would have like some kind of retaining clip which could hold the two sides together when closed up, the slightest of movements and it will start to open which is a pain when trying to hoisting it into my car or if it needs to be moved out of the way in the house, I love how easy it is to remove and then refit the wheels and they are not heavy either. That being my only negative means I happily recommend the Velopped tour, it really is an all terrain walker.
